Ludo King is an Indian mobile game application which was developed by an Indian studio called Gametion Technologies
Pvt Ltd. The game was developed on the Unity game engine and it is available in almost every platforms on Android, iOS, Kindle, Windows Phone and Microsoft
Windows. The game is a new form of the board game.
The game was officially released on February 20, 2016, on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store as well. It is the
also a first Indian gaming app to pass above 500 million downloads. Today, Ludo King is played in 30 countries
and available in 14 languages.
Ludo King is one of the most
popular games in India. The game has a Daily Active Users of about 10 million .
After 2017,the game has been downloaded about 120Million times and among them around 100Millions are expected to
be from India itself and is followed by Indonesia, Pakistan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil.
GAMEPLAY
Ludo King is based on the board game known as Ludo, derived from an ancient Indian game called
Pachisi. The objective of the game is to move 4 items or some small sized objects from the starting point around the board
to the center of the board, also known as Home and whoever completes the whole path quicker becomes
the first person to do this wins the game. The game has its own rules which should be followed by every ludo
player to participate and win the game.
The game Ludo King has four different modes : vs Computer, Local Mode (i.e. pass and play), Online Multiplayer (play with other
players around the world) and Private Multiplayer (play with friends in private rooms). The modes have their own independent features
, the computer mode is man vs computer where a player plays against a computer. You can even play online with
the people around the world at the same time. The online mode has made the game most popular and gave the game
a big hype and so much craziness.
